English Lavender - Seeds?

I adore English Lavender, and whilst visiting Ohio in USA I was unable to find any to set in my daughters garden.

Most of my lavender in my garden comes from cuttings and bought in the pot, can I BUY some seeds to send by post to my daughter? And I wonder would this be legal, considering they will have to be posted into another country (from England)

English Lavender - Seeds?
you can get them from Thompson %26amp; Morgan, a UK-based firm that ships internationally....they have a branch in New Jersey .....

the online seed catalogue is under the following URL: seeds.thompson-morgan.com/uk/en

Reply:Ye you can buy lavender packet seeds in UK shops.
Reply:I have tried sending seed in the post to a friend that lives in California and it has been confiscated. I don't know if the same regulations apply to the whole of the US but I should imagine that it would.

I wasn't allowed to send Liquorice All Sorts to a friend in Texas either!
