How do I move the giant purple Pokemon blocking the bridge that leads to lavender town in Pokemon:leafgreen??

I just can't get through the rock tunnel on route 10 in pokemon leafgreen so I NEED to know how to get rid of that purple snorlax pokemon on route 8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

How do I move the giant purple Pokemon blocking the bridge that leads to lavender town in Pokemon:leafgreen??
To get rid of that Snorlax, you need to go through Rock Tunnel to get to Lavender Town. You need to go to Lavender Town so you can get the PokeFlute to awaken the Snorlax and battle him.



Go to Vermillion City and go into Diglett Cave and then go all the way through until you find yourself at a secluded area near Veridian City. Go down to a werid little lab looking thing (you need CUT) and then talk to Oak's Aid and if you have caught ten or more Pokemon, then you can get HM05 Flash. This will light up the cave.



Go to Rock Tunnel and use Flash to light up the cave and just walk through it (myadvice is to stock up on heaps of Repels, because those wild Pokemon get really annoying) then get on your Bicycle and ride the whole way through, trying to avoid trainers (unless you want to train up).



Getting through Rock Tunnel really isn't that hard once you get the hang of it. If you are dreading going through it because you think that it's too long, then you have some learning to do. You can get through that cave in about five minutes and the way is easy (there are barely any trap ways).



Sorry, but if you want to complete the game, you will have to go through Rock Tunnel.
