I really want to grow lavenders but will they grow in the Philippines? I think we are in zone 11.

Lavender is native to the mediterranean region. They must have excellent drainage, and prefer dry summer months. If you get heavy rain in the summer your lavender will likely die. Below is a great article with info on types of lavender, and help with starting seed and growing it.
