How can you compliment the paint color chocolate brown in a bedroom?

Currently I am about to move into a new apartment. I have been looking for color inspirations for my bedroom and living room. I would like to have feminine colors for my walls and accent with chocolate colors. E.g. accesories, furniture. My daughters room is going to be lavender. I would like my living room to be a rose color. I have a black leather sectional couch and wood floors. Can you please help me?

How can you compliment the paint color chocolate brown in a bedroom?
The Chocolate color will go GREAT with a lite yellow or an off-white color. Theyh might add a little of the tint from the brown mix to compliment your colors (VERY LIGHT)! Have fun and a Great Holiday Season!!

Reply:Try a soft pastel Apple Green, and accent with Aqua and Turquoise pillows. Throw in a touch of Lavendar to tie in with the other room.
Reply:Cream goes well with chocolate brown. In the living room along with the rose how about some sage accents? I think that would look good.
Reply:IN MY BEDROOM I HAVE THE COLORS CHOCOLATE BROWN,

Reply:Chocolate brown, creamy white %26amp; soft pink are being used alot on decorating shows right now. Clothing %26amp; shoes also. I think it is a very pretty combo.
Reply:Definatley an ivory white...very soft, and it will contrast to a crisp, clean, and feminine look...make sure you get some soft flowing fabrics to work with as well.
Reply:sky blue and chocolate brown is a great combination.
Reply:I have a bedroom painted brown and we did all the molding, windows, etc. in a 'creamy' color... After we tried bright white, which looked terrible.

Also, there is many new colors of reddish out there that look wonderful with brown furniture, brown floors, etc. Think red walls, white trim work, wood furniture, etc. It is classic and chic... Good luck and don't be scared to try something new or different.
Reply:Teal looks really good w/ brown.
Reply:take a light tan color paint and use a sea sponge you can get them at any hardware store and dab the sponge in the paint then dab on the walls makes for a beatiful contrast
Reply:Light blues and light greens go well as complimentary colors to a darker brown.
Reply:When you go with a rose which is a very nice choice for a living room you can accessorize with Burgundy, pink, greens and browns but I thought the question was for the bedroom with chocolate brown...powder blue looks really nice with choc. brown. GL
Reply:Parmasan, and Sage Green are excellent.
