What looks nice with lavender?

My bridesmaid's dresses MIGHT be lavender but I'm not sure what color of flowers we could do. I hate doing only two colors so it'll probably incorporate several. The wedding's during the evening next June.

My dress is white.

Any good color combos, with lavender, or otherwise?

What looks nice with lavender?
My wedding colors were white, lavendar, and yellow and it was gorgeous!! :)

Another combo I liked was white, baby pink, and lavendar... really nice mix! :)

Good luck and congrats!! :)
Reply:I would suggest anything in white, pink, purple and some leaves with the colour of light apple green. Orchids are a good choice since the wedding is in the evening as they last longer.
Reply:pale ivy green and rose
Reply:I would say if you want to do more than two colors do one that's simple and neutral. . .like creme or something. . .and then do something a bit more bold. A few flowers or even hair pinnings could be something like orange.

Or you could do a deep navy and creme

Or a VERY light pink or peachy color.

Hope this helps. Congrats on your wedding. I'm sure it'll be beautiful.
Reply:Rose, any shade of rose goes well with lavender.

A very light blue may provide nice contrast although our experiences were with rose and sometimes a special shade of green.
Reply:white ---or a lighter shade of the orginal lavender
Reply:light colors

peach , yellow, pink - very springish

unless you wanna do a few shades of purple - lavender and plum
Reply:my colors are pink and lavender
Reply:I would say brown. Brown seems to be "in" right now. Or maybe a cream...
Reply:White, lavender and yellow always look classy

or you could always get your bridemaids to each were a pastel colour, light blue, light green, light pink etc
Reply:I would say peach.
Reply:yellow
Reply:duck egg blue and cream!
Reply:I like silver with lavender.
Reply:white, browns and pink go beautiful with lavender

you can always incorporate yellow flowers or touches of yellow to give a great shock of the complementary colors
Reply:Lavender would go well with a light pink,or even a ligth peach.Congrats on your wedding day soon!
Reply:I'm doing my flowers with lavender nosegays and yellow roses with a few white roses. You could also ad in two different shades of lavender or a darker purple, but only a little bit as too much would overpower the bouquet. This is an example of my bouquet but there will be mostly yellow and only a few white roses

Reply:ivory flowers, deep purple orchids, and pink
Reply:I would use a lot of green in your bouquet. I just planted lavendar in our back yard, and it naturally looks good with green-a green the color of grass. This highlights the purple color. Maybe add some ivory roses with greenery for your flowers-this would look really pretty!
Reply:periwinkle, dark blue, dark purple, yellow wuld look good with lavendar.

I'm doing dark red, burnt orange, choclate brown, but mines in the fall.
Reply:red roses- go bold!
Reply:pinks, yellows, creams or whites, some greens. Almost every color goes with lavender.
Reply:Lavender and white go great together, I went to a wedding not to long ago and they put lime green with lavendar... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THAT. Go online to david's bridal and you can find mixed seperates that incorporate lavender and white. With you dress being white you could use white lilies or orchids in their bouquets. orchids are very elegant and pretty. i would say white or silver would go best with lavender.
Reply:I have done wedding flowers for years now and have had people do pink, lavender and ivory, yellow, lavender and ivory, and sage, laveneder and ivory. Of course white could stand in for any of the ivory. The all looked very pretty and summer time fresh.
