Can lavender b grown INDOOR???? or is it an out door tree?

lavender can be grown indoors but will need to get transplanted outside eventely, so that the roots will have room to grow, it is mainly an outside plant...but I have grown mine in doors...they can get up to 2 feet tall.....so you will need to transplant outside.....they are good for cooking as well as decoration to make your house smell nice

If you're the impatient type (like me), you'll be disappointed to learn that most lavender doesn't bloom until the second year after planted. It can be grown indoors though. Unfortunately, it is a plant and not a tree, but it would make a beautiful and fragrant tree!
Reply:Lavender isn't a tree. It's technically an herb. You can grow any herb indoors. Lavender is actually a pretty easy one to grow as well...it just has very limited culinary uses.

If that doesn't help....google "growing lavender indoors". It brought up lots of results for me.

I use www.wikipedia.com for most things.

Good luck. I am a lavender fan as well!
