I am thinking of painting my now dark (dull) green fences cream and painting the trellis's lavender? Would this look good or should I leave them green??????

I would probably go all cream %26amp; plant something climbing on the trellis, but I would definately get rid of the dull green.
Reply:Leave green
Reply:I think it sounds great, I wish I'd thought of it. I think I'll file it away for future reference! I really don't like things painted green outdoors because the color always seems false next to the natural ones. Lavender is almost a neutral, especially the slightly greyish ones and most plants would look lovely with it. I don't know where you live but lavender would even look nice against a snowy winter backdrop. I say you're inspired and should begin painting now (if its warm enough, of course). Have fun!
Reply:That sounds wonderful! Go for it!

While traveling I saw a house painted this beautiful creamy eggnog color. The shutters were lavender and the front door was robin's egg blue. It was so pretty!! I will never forget it. I think cream and lavender are great together.
