Does lavender plant help improve sleep?

It would for me. It's basically aromatherapy... lavender is a scent that many people feel is calming, which helps you settle down and get good sleep. If you want to get a good night's sleep, start by winding down with a scented bath (lavender maybe?) by candlelight or by settling down for a while with a good book next to a scented candle, then surround yourself in your room with soothing colors (think light blues, greens, purples) and a theme that you love (my room is painted a light blue with pictures of the ocean and bamboo blinds to remind me of Hawaii), get good quality sheets and settle into nice comfortable bed.

.I use dried lavender in my dryer. I make a bundle in a small piece of cheesecloth and toss it into the dryer with my sheets and blankets. It really does help me to settle down and get to sleep.
Reply:Lavender is a scent that can be soothing and help to relax and sleep. I have also found that it is one of those scents that you either love or hate. If you love the scent place some fresh cut stems around your bedroom and see what you think.
