I am planning to travel to Melb in May 2008 and wish to visit/stay at a Lavender Farm in the vicinity. I searched out a few online but am not sure if they are recommended by the locals. Has anyone have experiences or recommendations? Thank you!
Lavender Farm - Melbourne?
Hi there is a beautiful lavendar farm near Ballarat, about 1 hour from Melbourne. Its called Lavandula, web site http://www.lavandula.com.au/
If you go up that way I highly reccomend also visiting Daylesford, beautiful town with natural springs and lots of great local shops.
