yes you should use it. but be care full maybe limit the docege to about 5 times a day.
Reply:which hazel is good as for a lot of things. check with your doctor or get a second opinion from another physician.
Reply:You should be asking your doctor about that, not someone here! If it's that deep and serious, don't take chances trying stuff that strangers tell you to try. Please call your doctor and talk to him or her.
Reply:I would suggest you save the lavender oil until the wound completely heals up. You don't need anything oily inside of a debreded spider bite except what you doctor suggested: good soap and water, and packing. Oily substances can hold the bacteria or kill off new skin cells. No peroxide or astringents or alcohol either; no neosporin. Just do as the doctor told you to do. If you pack the area using a q-tip to push the gauze, it will feel much better. Do what you doctor suggested unless you want a really nasty infection or worse. Stay with the soap and water; it kills the bacteria, cleans out the wound and that's all you need at this point in time. Wash you hands before you do your wound care also. Godloveya.
Reply:I would follow the directions your doctor gave you and use the anti-bacterial soap. Some essential oils are not suitable to use on broken skin and lavender may be one of them. It also may not have the germ killing properties you think it has.

Ouch.
