There is so many opposing for my wedding motif, which is lavender.what shall i do?

Here in the Phillipinnes,they belief the something violet is the color of the dead.

I have no optional color.bcoz LAVENDER .is my ONLY favorite color.

Not everyone has the same tastes (and if we did the world would be a very boring place!) and so whatever you choose will not please every single person that you invite to the wedding. What matters is that both you and your fiance are happy with the colour. If you both are then go for it!



If he's one of the people that are opposed to it perhaps you could consider what the poster above suggested- using a different colour and lavender as the accent. (Although lavender isn't really violet..)

Reply:i say go with lavendar...if that's what you really want. if you think the opposing will really put a damper on the wedding day, then maybe pick a different shade of purple...or do a different main color and just add the lavendar as an accent.
Reply:Sweetheart, unless the oysters where you are living are not shucked, the following is still true, even in your part of the world: Lavender is not the same as violet, so just use lavender for your motif.
Reply:Lavender is a very pretty and cute color for me. I suggest you put a li'l silver linings or edges on some portions and it would be better than just plain lavender. If you want lavender, SO BE IT! You're the goddess on your wedding, do everything you wanna do. It's not their wedding anyway. Heads up on your Lavenderous wedding girl! ?
