What do you think of the name Lavender?

There is no way to shorten it... unless people called her Lav. Which wouldn't sound good. I think Lavender is too long.

Reply:i think that lavender is a pretty name and it sounds breath taking.....................and it could really stick.................could be a brand someday...............that's what i think............but i think your the best judgement of that...........you must have some kind of answer.............or else you wouldn't have asked if your interested in the name go for it..........the name may be big! good luck!
Reply:I think it is a very pretty name. It isn't very common so if someone is named it there won't be a million other people named that. It is a unique name and is not easily confused with other things. Personally, i like it. hope my answer helps : )

Lavender has been one of my favorite girls' names for years! My favorite combo is Lavender Jane. Usually I like wilder (but not trashy) names like Philomena, Anouk, etc. But I love Lavender.
