I'm testing for ammonia.the indictor should turn into pale lavender after titration.what's the color actually?

the testing is using distillation.the indicating boric acid solution is purple in color.after titration with sulphuric acid, it should turn into pale lavender.i have no experience and wonder what is the color actually.i've tried so many times and the color hasn't change.
