The flag is wool based and already has some moth damage. It is indoors and has a wooden pole which cannot be changed. Moth balls cannot be used because it is a flag. I have had lavender oil reccomended but do not want to put it directly on the flag.
What is the best way to prevent moth damage to a flag?
My advice is use moth balls. It works like a charm. But since you need them for a flag see if you can get a spray. If that doesn't work, eish! You're on your own!

Reply:moth balls can be used ! they dont need to be touching the flag, just placed by it.
