Why does the vent in my apartment smell like rotten eggs?

It seems to be coming from my neighbor's apartment. Could it just my allergies affecting my sense of smell?



I've sprayed my room twice with Febreeze and sprayed some of that lavender aromatherapy on my bed, yet I can still smell eggs. Am I going crazy?

Reply:there may or may not be something in the ventway which is the cause of the odor.
Reply:Does your apartment complex use natural gas? If so, there may be a leak somewhere. Contact your apartment manager and tell them of the smell.
