What is the best 'different' colour for guys to dye their hair?

My hair is naturally dark brown. I want to dye my hair, but I'm not sure of what colour to dye it. I want to dye it something 'different'; that is, a colour you don't normally see as a hair colour. My ma thinks I should get blonde 'icing' tips; my sister thinks I should get blonde streaks; and a friend of mine thinks I should get black streaks. I actually want a 'different' colour. I think maybe a deep dull blue would work, not quite a dark blue but not a normal blue either; or perhaps a slightly-dark dull lavender. I think the latter may be a little *too* 'different' though. What do you think? Any ideas?

Well my opinion don't do the blonde tips thang if you want to be different,because everybody does that. I'd go with like a cool lookin blue or a dark neon green. I wouldn't go with the lavender, it just don't look right on guys to me. Just my opinion.
Reply:I think that It would look cool if you just got the tips done in a bright color, like blue or red. Just dont over do it!

Reply:i am a fan of burgundy hair. i have mine burgundy right now and it is pretty sweet. it started out as bright red tho. i got in trbl for that so i dyed it black and now the red shows thru and it looks realllllly cooool!! i get comments on how cool and different it is every day
