What is your favorite laundry detergent/fabric softener & dryer sheets?

I'm looking to make some changes. I want to try to a different kind of laundry detergent, fabric softener %26amp; dryer sheets. I want my clothes to get really clean, be soft %26amp; smell great for as long as possible. I currently use Gain. I've used "touch of softness", "lavender" %26amp; "original" scents. There are too many choices to smell them all. So if you love the way your detergent, fabric softener %26amp; dryer sheets clean, soften %26amp; smell, please share...thanx!

What is your favorite laundry detergent/fabric softener %26amp; dryer sheets?
I use All Free and Clear laundry detergent and have been experimenting with the different fragrances and brands of fabric softener.

I used Downy for years, but grew tired of the same old fragrances and have recently tried Suavitel fabric softener. I'm very pleased with the softness of my clothes and I've only used the one in the yellow bottle, but it has a nice fragrance as well. Not too overwhelming, but it seems to stay in the fabrics a long time and it's a lot less expensive than most fabric softeners.

I keep a box of Arm and Hammer Fresh Burst scented dryer sheets, but only use them occasionally (when I forget to add fabric softener to the final rinse).
Reply:i use all free and clear detergent, I never keep the same softener, and I use those eco-selects (or whatever they are called) from wal-mart ( blue box)for dryer sheets!
Reply:Tide Liquid, original scent, Downy April Fresh scent in liquid %26amp; in sheets. Makes my wash smell sooooo good.
Reply:Personally, I love Cheer. My clothes come out of the wash clean and smelling wonderful. I also add liquid softener by snuggle (I think) which can be at times pretty pricey. However, my clothes stay very soft. I also use snuggle dryer sheets. Hope this helps.
Reply:I like gain joyful expressions in the red bottle for clothes, along with downy fabric softener and downy sheets unscented for the fabric softener smell already in them...
Reply:I love Gain liquid and snuggle dryer sheets.:)
Reply:I like the scent of Gain Thousand Treasures it better than Lavender scent. I prefer to use Nice %26amp; Fluffy fabric softner mountian rain. It leaves my clothes a mountian scent.

If you don't like Gain there is Surf they come in different scents or Purex. I use a small bottle of Small %26amp; Mightly it last a well but didn't have any scent.

I use whatever fabric softner sheets I can get for 1 dollar
Reply:I use MelaPower laundry detergent, MelaBrite to whiten and brighten my clothes, and MelaSoft fabric softner and dryer sheets. They get my clothes really clean and they smell great. The best thing is they don't have any harsh chemicals in them. They are more effective, safer, and healthier for your home and family. I've been using these products for the past 3 years and love them. Email me if you would like more information.
Reply:TIDE original laundry soap and lavender softener from downy ( the purple bottle ) incl. dryersheets . Very longlasting scent
Reply:Have you ever considered skipping dryer sheets altogether...they actually cause a gunky build-up in your dryer over time...and switch to fabric softener? I used dryer sheets for years. Still do on occasion. However, I purchased the Downy drop in ball...it's a little plastic ball you fill with fabric softener...about $4.00... and toss it in the washer when you put your clothes in. It automatically releases softener during the first rinse cycle. They are fabulous! And you will not need a dryer sheet. I use Downy 'Lavendar-Vanilla Scent' fabric softener with them. As opposed to dryer sheets that simply leave a scent on the outside of the clothes, the fabric softener seeps into the threads and it stays fresh forever...and no static from the dryer!! My clothes smell great...not too strong...and stay soft for months. Even the stuff I store over winter.

Try it...you'll like it!! I guarantee!! It definitely converted me.
Reply:TIDE, CLOROX BLEACH, BOUNCE DRYER SHEETS AND BLUING FOR WHITER WHITES.
Reply:Tide liquid with a touch of Downy Clean Breeze. Downy Clean Breeze liquid fabric softener. For sheets and blankets I use the same detergent, but I use Downy Simple Pleasures vanilla and lavender fabric softener.
