Okay, i don't drive or anything,
but while i was in the car, i saw this billboard,
and i was wondering,
what does the lavender do?
i mean, it's not like a set of tires can actually change the enviornment,
..or is that what they are trying to promote?
So I saw a billboard ad for lavender scented tires...?
I saw this in LA off the 405. What's the big deal? Presumably, you'll be in the car driving so you won't be able to smell the tires, anyway. File this under the same lame-invention category as lawn darts.
Reply:i like the smell of rubber
Reply:That is sooo crazy. What purpose would putting scent into tire. That to me just makes no sense. LOL
Reply:well it probably only works if you are converting your tires to smoke by sliding or doing burnouts..I can only take it seriously because i have seen Japanese tires be advertised to create different color smoke when slid on and ive actually seen it work

Reply:Apparently, Kumho's skid 'n' sniff tires are going out to the "trend-setting, fashion-conscious drivers" who want their cars to rock something that no one else has: the sweet smell of lavender.
Now then, while I wholeheartedly applaud Kumho's decision to bring something so unique to wheelwear, I question the choice of fragrance.
Reply:nothingg.
literally, its just a waste.
they do nothing but make the air smell nice around the vehicle.
