I'm going to paint my living room purple, with white furniture and trim. It's going to be beautiful.

Reply:I love lavender: its color, its smell, the lavender soap, and everything made by lavender. Yes, your room will be gorgeous, if you paint it lavender. And if you like its smell, I suggest you buy some bags of dried lavender and hang it in your room.

Reply:I painted a bedroom purple once, it took a while to get used to it! I accented it with wide white wallpaper border, white drapes, off-white carpet and a patterned purple and white bedspread.



The dark wood in the furniture made for an alternating focal point...dark wood in your selection will offset so much white.



It made a beautiful bedroom, a living room? Your choice, get other family members to agree...live alone? ask the cat! lol have fun!
