Which scented shrub will have long summer flowering period. I already have lavender and roses.?

I planted rows of Gardenia bushes. They don't flower continuously, but mine flower at least twice a season, and smell pretty good. Besides that, the bush itself its pleasant to look at, easy to prune, and can be a long term plant.
