What color shoes with lavender dress w/ black accents?

I am a freshman in college, but I am going to my boyfriend's senior prom in 2 weeks and need suggestions for shoe colors.

My dress is a beautiful lavender shade with minimal black lace and ribbon accents. I have worn this dress with black shoes before but I am wanting to trying something newer and fresher. I have thought of a magenta hue or a bright blue or teal as possible combos. I would like to know what other colors people think would look good with my dress? (OTHER THAN NEUTRALS! no black silver or anything of that sort because those are standbys but want to think of other possibilities) I am fairly good with coordinating colors usually and I am honestly not afraid to try bold combinations since I am still young and there is no better time that I will be able to do this.



So what do y'all suggest??

um ROYAL purple satin flats or pumps!!! in round toe if pumps and slightly squared if flats. OMG, u will look like royalty. also try a canary yellow if ur bold or a taxi-yellow if SUPER BOLD. also try tangerine orange and robin's egg blue.

Reply:I know you said it's just a stand in, but I think black would look the best. Going for bold colors and such might be too much for Prom. You want to look elegant, not cheap or party-ish or uncoordinated.
