What kind of protection does sage, sea salt,cinnamon and lavender offers the person who wears them?

Going by folklore and supernatural beliefs, define each herb and it's power. And why would a person without knowing what they are used for just feel the need to wear them daily.....is that insight?

What kind of protection does sage, sea salt,cinnamon and lavender offers the person who wears them?
Sage is both for purification and protection

Sea Salt is for both purification and protection

Cinnamon is for healing, protection, and some purification rituals (it is of lesser strength than Sage or Sea Salt)

Lavender is for healing, strength, purification in certain rituals, and also protection from malevolent spirits.



I would say it might be natural insight to wear them or feel like you have to wear them when you don't know what they are used for, or the myths (folk lore) about them... Then again, it could just be that the person likes them.

sage: general protection, but also commonly used for divination



salt: general protection, consecration/purification of a sacred space or ritual circle, and purification or consecration of an object or person.



cinnamon: purification of a sacred space, generic protection, and healing of the body. I think there is less focus on the 'protection aspect' than with the first two, though.



Lavender: not so much for protection as it is for sleep and relaxation.



I don't know why a person might be natually drawn to wear them. It could be insight, but it could also be that they are just pleasant, comfortable smells. Maybe there are some anxiety issues that need to be worked through, or another fear or nervousness of some kind. It's actually fairly abnormal for Western intuitives to wear herbs daily. Your body could just be very in tune with some things that comfort you, whether you have any emotional distress or not.
