i purchesed Lavender, Basil, Cliantro, Chameile and Spermint to grow. i have an apartment with roof space for ideal sunshine. I was just wandering if these herbs needed any other special care? can i grow them all in the same pot?

Potting soil, a mild fertilizer, water and sun should work fine, I see no reason you couldn't grow them in a single container.
